Here at Sunny Point Cottages we feel that your pet is an important part of
your family and must be included in the holiday, too! All our cottages are
pet-friendly, but we have designated the lodge and the executive 5 bedroom as pet-free. Since we are one
of the few resorts that still accept pets you are encouraged to adhere to
the few rules we have. |  |
1) Your pet must be leashed at all times.
2) Stooping and scooping is a must.
3) Continuous and excessive noise will not be tolerated.
4) Please keep your pet off the furniture and bedding. You will be charged
an extra cleaning fee if pet hairs have to be removed from furniture or
bedding.
5) Pets are not allowed around the office/lodge/beach area. We have 99 acres
where they are allowed and just one where they are not allowed. Your pet may
swim off your own private dock by your cottage.
Old towels, blankets and sheets are available at the office of you need them
to cover furniture or dry your pet off after a dip in the lake.
Living and cottaging in rural Ontario is beautiful, but does bring with it
certain pet problems. We have porcupines, skunks, fishers, bears and other
dogs - all of which can prove hazardous to your pet if it is not under
control.
So come cottage with us where you AND your PET are most welcome! |
